Crematorium Uitvaartcentrum Oost Groningen – electric hybrid cremator

Uitvaartcentrum Oost Groningen (East Groningen Funeral Centre) in Winschoten has been using an electric hybrid Crematech oven since June 2026. After many years of operating a gas-fired cremation oven, the centre has decided to move towards fully electric cremation in the future.

The hybrid version of Crematech is a full-fledged electric cremation oven with a small burner built in. The burner can be switched on when needed to slightly speed up the cremation process in certain cases. This gives the operator extra flexibility on days with many cremations.

In addition to installing a Crematech electric cremation oven, the entire building has undergone a thorough renovation. The intake room has been completely refurbished, allowing bereaved families to say goodbye in a peaceful setting. The oven room has also been renewed, and adjustments have been made to the technical installations throughout the funeral centre.

The result is a beautiful, cohesive whole, and we are proud that Uitvaartcentrum Oost Groningen placed their trust in us to realize this wonderful step together.
